Connect

You need a Ranobi account and a Claude plan that can add connectors.

  • Open Ranobi in Claude's connector directory, or in Ranobi open Settings → Integrations and press Connect on Claude.
  • Press Connect to Claude.
  • Sign in to Ranobi if you're asked to, check the page says the access goes to claude.ai, and press Allow.

To add it by hand instead, as a custom connector or in another app that takes a connector's address, use https://ranobi.com/api/mcp.

What Claude can do

  • List forms: your forms, whether each is published, and how many responses it has.
  • List templates: the template gallery.
  • Create form: a new draft, blank or from a template.
  • Get form: one form's questions and settings.
  • Get form editing reference: how edits are written. It holds no data of yours.
  • Edit form draft: add, change, move or remove questions and content, and change the design. This can remove questions from the draft.
  • Publish form: make the draft live at its public link, replacing the earlier version.
  • Summarize responses: totals for the last 30 days and the newest responses.

Claude uses your own account, so it only reaches forms you own. It can't delete a form or a response, change a form's Settings tab (closing, limits, passwords, notifications), or see your sign-in details.

Things to ask

  • Make a short event RSVP form with a dietary question.
  • Show me my forms and which ones are published.
  • Add a required work email question to my feedback form, then give me the link to check it.
  • Publish my RSVP form and give me the public link.
  • Summarize this week's responses to my feedback form.

Your data

What Claude reads goes to Anthropic, including answers your respondents typed, and is handled under Anthropic's terms and privacy policy. The Privacy Policy has the details on Ranobi's side.

Answers come from the public, so treat what they say with care: someone could type instructions into a form, and those aren't from you.

Disconnect

In Ranobi, open Settings → Integrations, open the Claude row and press Disconnect. Claude's access ends at once. Removing the connector in Claude alone may not end it, so use the button in Ranobi.

If something goes wrong

  • "This link has expired or was already used": go back to Claude and press Connect again.
  • Claude asks you to connect again: your connection was disconnected or has ended. Press Connect and Allow.
  • "The form changed": the form was edited elsewhere while Claude was working. Ask Claude to try again.
  • The public form hasn't changed: edits stay in the draft until the form is published.
